Can Trincheria

Etienne Rouziès, the writer from Perpignan, who was hosted in the Faber residency during January, is speaking about walking as a starting point for the creative process in the talk “Olot, Memories of Rambling: Poetic Wanderings through the City”. Following an introduction and presentation by the geographer and Human Geography Professor (UdG), Joan Nogué, Rouziès will present some of his explorations of the city during his residency in Olot, evoking eminent walker-writers such as Jacques Rousseau, Petrarca, Virginia Woolf and Iain Sinclair, as well as other figures closer to home such as the poet Joan Teixidor.

*The talk will take place in Catalan.
