Biography —

He did his PhD on number theory at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. He spent some time as a postdoc in Bonn and then in Essen. He joined the Universitat de Barcelona in 2014 as a Juan de la Cierva postdoc and shortly after as a lecturer.

Project —

My research interests are mainly related to elliptic curves and the problem of finding rational points on them. For some years now I have been working with Marc Masdeu on Darmon points, which are a conjectural generalization of the more classical Heegner points but for real quadratic fields. I am also interested on p-adic iterated integrals, a different (but related) method for finding rational points.
