Biography —

Silvia Sasot is an architect (ETSAB-UPC) specialized in the design of educational spaces based on co-creation. She works with schools and institutions immersed in changes in the spaces linked to educational innovation. Her role is to establish coherence between pedagogical projects and its implementation in the spaces.

She is co-author of the practical guide Com dissenyar espais educatius per aprendre i conviure, of the Hack the School project, awarded the Ciutat de Barcelona 2017 Design Prize.

Project —

During the stay in Faber, Marta Portero and me will address the socio-spatial contexts of schools with a double perspective (neuroscience and architecture). Our interest focuses on the conceptual improvement of the design of learning and coliving environments based on the framework of the cognitive neuroscience.
