Project at Faber —
I will present residents with a series of local maps that are used to guide people in various spaces. Maps also have a way to teach people about what spaces are valued and which are not, which spaces become (queer) cultural spaces, and which spaces are dangerous or unsafe spaces. Participants will be able to physically write and draw on areas in the map where there are strengths and concerns, and dialogue with each other throughout the entire process in small groups. Participants will be able to envision organizational layouts that are queer-inclusive.
