From April 24 to April 28, 2019
Pilar Campos is a records manager and archivist at the University of Barcelona and Project Director of Master Projects in the Master’s Degree in Records and Information Management in Business (MGDIE). She has participated in several consulting projects, including projects related to archiving biomedical patents, processes consultancy and digital transformation in business. Her career is marked by great dedication to achieve e-Government in the universities. She also manages the social networks from her University Archive and recently has started with the comunication of the Society of Catalan Archivists and Records Managers. Her interest rely on data governance and data management from the archival point of view.
At Faber Residency I would like to work with other archivist professionals to prepare a digital preservation guide applicable to institutions that have not been able to develop one. A flexible and adaptable model that will serve as a starting point. In addition, start reflection on the challenges of the profession focused on the social archive as the beginning of the debates that will open during the XVII Congress of Archive and Document Management in May 2019.
