Sabadell (Barcelona, Catalonia)
From April 6 to April 12, 2019
Josep Ferràndiz studied computer science at the School of Engineering (Campus Sabadell) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He has worked as a technology teacher in secondary school since 1997. Nowadays he is working in innovation and teacher training for the Education Department of Catalonia and as a collaborator with the technological scope of CESIRE (Support center for Innovation and Educational Research).
He has been involved in educational telematic environments development (Intranet project based on Zikula CMS, Moodle LMS) and, in recent years, he has focused his dedication in Computer Science teaching, programming and robotics. Since 2016, he is part of the Snap4Arduino team.
This Faber stage is again a great opportunity to do a very useful and interesting job and also to meet Snap, Snap4Arduino and MicroBlocks teams with an extensive worksheet. Our main goals are:
– To prepare materials for a teacher training course on creative learning with Snap! and its new social website: a place to store and share projects, an exchanging area between students, teachers and the entire Snap! community.
– To document connectivity between Snap!/Snap4Arduino projects, making classroom activity examples on modular projects, IoT and other device connections.
– To design and develop connection features between Snap!/Snap4Arduino projects and MicroBlocks devices.
Robolot on Saturday May 11 will be an important event to spread and share experiences with the educative community.
